Books to Celebrate Independence Day

We've chosen some of our favorite books to read to celebrate the Fourth of July. Some are longer picture books and stories that are a great way to introduce young children to the history of how the United States won its independence. Some of the books describe how the holiday is typically celebrated today with fireworks and picnics and parades. Others specifically focus on the Declaration of Independence.
